Drawn to study abroad in Latin America after pursuing a degree in International Relations, Lyssa chose a program in Buenos Aires and quickly fell in love with Argentina.

After receiving her degree, she continued to find ways to return to Argentina until she made the crazy decision to move there permanently.

After almost 15 years, she now calls Buenos Aires home, where she lives with her dog and cat.

Lyssa is co-founder of Foodies Buenos Aires, a group for expats and nomads with over 3,000 members. Each week they get together to explore the local restaurant scene.

She is certified in Innovative Winemaking Techniques & the Economy of Wine and is the founder of Dame Vinito, a page that brings together the latest wine tastings, wine courses and parties across the city.
